Our Legacy

Sigma specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance industrial cranes and electric wire rope hoists. Product range features single girder cranes with capacities up to 32 tons and spans of 30 meters, as well as double girder cranes supporting loads up to 50 tons with spans reaching 30 meters. Sigma also offers advanced underslung hoists capable of lifting up to 32 tons, with lifting heights of up to 100 meters and hoisting speeds ranging from 2 m/min to 9 m/min, with special models reaching 12 m/min for specific applications.

Late Mr. N. Parthasarathy

Founder

Mr. N. Parthasarathy, the founder director of the company in 1975, possessed excellent entrepreneurship and managerial skills along with technical expertise. He instilled key principles of uncompromising quality, timely delivery, and excellent after-sales service, which continue to be upheld even today. At a time when manpower was heavily relied upon and chain pulley hoists were the norm, he foresaw the future and conceptualized electric hoists, customizing them to meet customer needs which highlights his visionary nature. Along with establishing the well-known brand “Sigma,” he left behind a legacy of goodwill in the field of cranes and hoists, an asset to the future generations.

Mr. Naveen P

Managing Director

Mr. Naveen P, the 2nd generation Managing Director who took over the leadership role in the year 2005 has committed himself to maintain high standards set by his father and founder late Mr. N. Parthasarathy and is successfully upholding the legacy. With his hard work, dedication and visionary leadership Mr Naveen is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the company’s success and excellence.

Mr. Bharath N. Vishwamitra

Management Team Member

Mr. Bharath N. Vishwamitra believes that when talent combines, magic happens. Enthusiastic about designing material handling equipment with his innovative ideas, he aims to bring about a new change in the field of hoists and cranes integrating new technology. As a third-generation business leader with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he draws inspiration from his grandfather and founder, late Mr. N. Parthasarathy, who always said, ‘Never dream of success, work for it’.
